Hagámoslo Juntos Foundation is a Honduran non-profit organization dedicated to restoring mobility through high-quality hip and knee replacement surgeries.
Access remains deeply unequal.
Hip and knee replacements are among the most successful procedures in modern medicine. For many Honduran families, the cost of implants, hospitalization, medications, studies, and surgical treatment makes a joint replacement surgery economically impossible.
And the consequences extend far beyond pain. People lose mobility. They lose independence. Their families become caregivers. Parents and grandparents stop participating in the life they spent years helping to build.
Some patients arrive believing they simply must accept that reality as part of their future. We believe otherwise.
We refuse to accept that working with limited resources means offering limited medicine.
